Product Description: Seachoice 44566 Anchor Rode - 1/2" x 200' 8-Plait Nylon Rope and 1/4" x 10' Chain With 5/16" Shackle 8 Plait nylon is the ideal choice for anchor rode. Compared to traditional 3 strand nylon, the tensile strength is similar, but the multi-strand woven lay allows the rope to lay more compactly in the anchor locker. As a result, you have more rode available if needed. In addition, the 8 plait does not twist or knot up, allowing the windlass to perform more efficiently.
