Product Description: Sea-Dog 147126 Captive Pin S/S D-Shackle, 1/4" Designed for rigging applications with bi-directional loads the D style shackle has straight sides with a U-shape rounded bottom. The U-shaped end can handle heavy loads, loads on the straight sides, however, may cause bending. Constructed of forged 316 stainless these shackles feature a captive pin closure. When open the pin completely clears the opening of the shackle and is recessed into a secured flush position. The pin remains captive and will not fall out, no risk of loss due to vibration.
